"Anheuser-Busch is proud to support Southside Day Nursery, part of the brewery community since 1886. The contribution that SSDN makes to the community by giving children a head start in realizing their true potential is immeasurable. For example, one of our own employees, Penny Hillemeyer, was a student at SSDN in the 1950s and remains an active volunteer today. Recently, Anheuser-Busch joined with SSDN to help provide safe and child-friendly play spaces. Seeing happy and healthy children interacting with each other and playing games on these redeveloped playgrounds reminds us that this generation will be our future business and community leaders, and underscores the value of having SSDN in our community."
